The 2003-2005 LX470 does not come with factory hitch attached but rather a cut-out on the rear frame rail.
You remove the plastic cover on the bumper to access the receiver.
I wanted the added protection of a rear hitch plus I think it just looks better with it! ;)
Since the LandCruiser and LX470 share the same platform, the hitch just bolts up to factory holes.
One change that I had to do was swap the tow hook to from the drivers side to the passager as the hitch would not clear it.
With that said, the bolts on the drivers side (longer) were used on the passager side.
